 Dr. Michael Urig was born and grew up in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Dr. Urig received his medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine and his specialty training in OB/GYN from Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center. He became Board Certified in OB/GYN in 1991. Dr. Urig is the Associate Residency Director and Associate Chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center. He has been one of the "Top Docs" in Phoenix Magazine from 2001-2010 and is President of the Board of Directors of Arizona OB/GYN Affiliates. Dr. Urig is married and has two sons. His outside interests include getting away to Flagstaff with his family, mountain biking and snowboarding. He is also a high school boys youth leader at Camelback Bible Church. Board Certified, F.A.C.O.G.
